Summer Book Sales
There’s no arguing that one of the cheapest ways to go on vacation is through reading! It’s the perfect time to find a cool shade outdoors and discover new places- real or imagined- in the pages of a good book. And, with two upcoming book sales, your travel destinations are limitless!
The Aloha Community Library Association is having a Book Sale and Community Event July 13th & 14th at their Library Annex location on 17800 SW Kinnaman Rd. The hours for both days are 9am to 4pm. This coincides with Aloha Summer Days– where local organizations will have various activities and food samples for its community members!
It looks like the grand opening for the Aloha Library is planned for September! But they are currently having weekly storytimes on Wednesdays and Saturdays (10:30am -11:30am) at their future location- 17683 SW Farmington Rd, Suite E- until August 29th. What’s even cooler about this is for “children who attend at least four storytime sessions can earn a free prize book and Summer Reading Program certificate!”
The following weekend, July 20th & 21st, Friends of the Tualatin Public Library will have their summer book sale in the Library Community Room. It’ll run during the library’s open hours from 10am to 6pm.
If we missed out on any or if you would like to share an upcoming book sale, please let us know!
