WCCLS’s Summer Reading Program 2012

We’ve got summer on our minds- and so does Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS)!

Starting June 1st, you can stop by at any of their locations and sign up for their Summer Reading Programs!

They have everyone covered!

The youngest of readers can participate through the “Read to Me!” initiative. It’s never too early to start kids on the right track- giving them a leg up when they do start school but also creating moments as a family. Find out other benefits of reading to your child here.

Not only do kids “Dream Big” when they read, they also prevent the dreadful “summer slide.” And they can earn prizes– from tickets to sports games and free rides at fairs and amusement parks!

Teens can stay cool during the days at their local libraries and “Own the Night” with great books.

Adults can get “Between the Covers” and participate as well. The prizes for grabs can help you make the most of your summer! One of the highlights is getting a chance to meet Phillip Margolinbestselling author and notorious library lover!

Will you be participating in any of these Summer Reading programs?
